Huge thanks to Ryleigh Jenkins, age 10, who raised $1100 for her birthday to purchase the "Sweet Cases" for children in foster care! Each bag contains a blanket, teddy bear, tooth brush and coloring book & crayons. She and her friends helped stuff the bags and decorate them as a part of her birthday party. A local boy scout troop also helped in decorating the bags. Such a wonderful gesture that is greatly appreciated! Ryleigh found Community Connections through Together We Rise: www.togetherwerise.org

Special thanks to Maya Breeze, age 16, who did a project at Riverwood International Charter school about children in foster care. Maya raised money on her own and shopped for pajamas, toys, and blankets and donated to Community Connections for children in our foster care program. What a special teenager!
