Volunteer Opportunities
Community Connections is in need of volunteers ages 21 and older to babysit children in foster care ages 0-13 years while their foster parents attend training sessions. Any interested volunteers can contact Community Connections to schedule an orientation and complete a criminal records check and child protective services check. There are typically 20-25 children in foster care in attendance who are divided by age groups into separate child care rooms. In addition to Community Connections staff present, five volunteers are needed for each training. The scheduled trainings below are all held in Stone Mountain, GA. Donations
Community Connections relies on donations from the community to provide additional support for children in foster care. All donations are tax deductible.

We currently have three events that we are requesting donations for:

• Holiday Toy Drive
• Spring Fling Clothing Drive
• Book bag & School Supply Drive

Agency Wish List

• Cash donations
• Gift Cards (family restaurants or kid’s clothing/toy stores)
• Suitcases and duffel bags
• Clothing (size infant to age 13)
• Coloring books and crayons
• Dolls and action figures
• Diapers
