Community Connections is in need of volunteers ages 21 and older to babysit children in foster care ages 0-13 years while their foster parents attend training sessions. Any interested volunteers can contact Community Connections to schedule an orientation and complete a criminal records check and child protective services check. There are typically 20-25 children in foster care in attendance who are divided by age groups into separate child care rooms. In addition to Community Connections staff present, five volunteers are needed for each training. The scheduled trainings below are all held in Stone Mountain, GA.
