History
Community Connections was founded and established by Linda Coil, MSW and Karen Jackson, LMSW in March 2002. Community Connections recognizes the growing need for foster and adoptive parents to receive quality supportive services to best serve children in foster care. Community Connections maintains a positive working relationship with DFACS to support the permanency plans of children in order to be successfully reunified with their birth families. When adoption is the permanency plan for children, Community Connections also works in partnership with DFACS to facilitate successful adoption finalizations. Each year, Community Connections has grown and serves a monthly average of 50-55 children in 25-30 foster and adoptive homes.
