The mission of Community Connections is to successfully meet the needs of children in foster and adoptive placements by providing quality treatment services through family centered practice.

• Orientation for foster and adoptive applicants
• Pre-service training for foster and adoptive applicants
• Home study of the foster and adoptive families
• Pre-placement services for the foster care or adoptive placement
• Supportive services during the foster care placement for foster parents, birth families, relatives, and DFACS Case Managers
• Supportive services during the adoptive placement for adoptive parents and DFACS Case Managers
• Ongoing supportive services for foster and adoptive parents
• Ongoing trainings for foster and adoptive parents
• Foster to adopt conversion studies
