Summer BBQ
WHAT IT IS
The Annual Summer BBQ is held each summer to support, appreciate, and honor the dedication and commitment of foster and adoptive parents and the children they serve.
WHAT’S INVOLVED
Volunteers, ages 18 and older, are needed to serve food and assist with children’s activities, including moonwalk, face painting, games and crafts. Organized volunteer groups through corporations or colleges are also welcome.

Super Saturdays
WHAT IT IS
Saturday Trainings are offered to Community Connections foster parents to provide additional opportunities to complete their annual continuous training hours.
WHAT’S INVOLVED
Volunteers, ages 18 and older, are needed to babysit children in foster care while their foster parents attend the training sessions. Volunteers can select the age group they prefer to volunteer with and will enjoy interacting, playing games, or simply holding an infant. Organized volunteer groups through corporations or colleges are welcomed.

The Closet Connection
WHAT IT IS
The Closet Connection offers free, on-site shopping experiences for Community Connections foster families. We receive donations year round in order to offer a wide selection of items to meet the needs of Community Connections foster parents and the children in our foster care program.
WHAT’S INVOLVED
Volunteers, ages 18 and older, are needed to wash, sort, fold, hang and store donated children’s clothing, toys, and books. Individuals or organized volunteer groups through corporations or colleges are welcomed.
